Penticton Vees exacted revenge for a shootout loss at Hap Parker Arena earlier this season by skating to a 4-2 win over Powell River Kings at the BC Hockey League (BCHL) Showcase in Seattle, Washington, on Tuesday, October 24. All BCHL teams are taking placing at the event, with games being played at the Kraken Community Iceplex from October 22 to 26.

Noah Eyre and Alexi Van Houtte-Cachero scored for the Kings, who trailed 1-0 after 20 minutes and 2-1 heading into the third period. Both Kings' goals came on power plays; the special teams unit went two for three in the game. Vees were unsuccessful in two opportunities with the extra skater.

Will Jones assisted on both Powell River goals, while his teammates Anthony Yu and Eyre recorded one helper each. Goaltender Owen Crudale made 24 saves for the Kings, who were outshot 28-24.

Powell River faces Prince George on Wednesday, October 25, also in Seattle, before returning home to host Salmon Arm Silverbacks at Hap Parker Arena on Saturday, October 28.
