Powell River Regals and Penticton Silver Bullets met for the second time in as many nights at Hap Parker Arena on Saturday, October 21. Regals posted a 5-2 win 24 hours earlier.

Fans had to wait until the final minute of Saturday's game to see a goal for the home team. Jared Winkel broke Penticton’s shut-out bid with 42 seconds remaining, lifting a rebound over the goaltender in a 3-1 win for the visitors from the Okanagan.

Following a scoreless first period, the Silver Bullets broke the deadlock midway through period two and added a pair of third period goals to secure the victory.

Regals led on the shot clock by a margin of 35-24, with Lazlo Tomasic making 21 saves for the home team. Nic Porchetta and Travis Granbois picked up assists on the lone Powell River goal.

Both teams have their sights set on hoisting the Coy Cup at season's end. BC’s senior men’s AA hockey championship tournament will take place in late March at Hap Parker Arena.
