With heavy hearts we share the passing of Mary Ellen Devine on October 4, 2022, with her husband at her side.
Mary was born in London, England, on November 10, 1952, to Sean and Bridget Forry, and as a child she spent much of her summers in Ireland, as her parents always instilled a love for their Irish roots.
In her early adulthood Mary raised two daughters, Gayle and Helen, and enjoyed a rewarding career in the dental field. Then, in Northern Ireland in 2000, she met the love of her life, Sam. As Sam and Mary fell in love, they shared their vows in 2002, and Mary moved to Canada to be with her husband.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Sean and Bridget Forry, her sister Andrea “Andy” and her sister Jaqueline “Jackie.” She is survived by her loving husband Sam; her two daughters Gayle (Micheal) and Helen (Kieron); her two stepdaughters Melissa (Dave) and Lindsay (Luke); her 12 grandchildren Charlie, Malachi, Harry, Alannah, Caitlyn, Hannah, Maylin, Lacie, Oaklyn, Dainger, Maverick and Mya; her three sisters Berni (Oliver), Colleen (Chris) and Nula, and their children; her two sisters-in-law Joanne (Ed) and Colleen; her very dear best friend Shirley, as well as numerous other family members and dear friends.
