Tessa, you came to me when you were 10 years old. Your kind eyes and gentle demeanour led you to be a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog.
For six years you barked all the way to Henderson Elementary School looking forward to treats, toys and hugs from staff, students and visitors. You enjoyed rolling on the carpet, cleaning up after lunch and simply being there for someone to lean on.
In kindergarten you were measured nose-to-tail during math, sometimes wore a bunny hat or butterfly wings, and taught little ones how to ask first to pet a dog.
At home you taught Jojo how to be a good dog.
Heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Fleming and his caring staff.
