I’m excited for and envious of each one of you, but at the same time I can fully empathize with the nervousness you probably feel. Graduating high school and moving onto the next stage of your life is a huge change, no matter what that next stage may be.
The best advice that I can give you is to take the time to figure out what you want to do. Right now you have the freedom to choose how you want the rest of your life to play out – don’t make light of that opportunity!
There are more ways to make a living out there than you can think of; do the research. Assess your skills and your interests and pursue an occupation in that field.
Don’t let the amount of money you can make dictate which career path you take. At the end of the day it’s all just numbers on a piece of paper.
Choose something that will challenge you, frustrate you and bring you joy at the end of the day.
