Elementary school students from seven schools were on the run last week. Two hundred and seven runners from grades three through seven took part in School District 47’s annual fall cross-country run on a beautiful crisp afternoon at Sunset Park in Wildwood.

Top six winners in each category are listed below.

Grade three girls: first Annika Schmunk, Grief Point Elementary School (GPES); second Brooklyn Vanderkempe, GPES; third Madeline Burt, GPES; fourth Sarah Schweitzer, Assumption School (AS); fifth Ainsley Needham, GPES; sixth Sarah Maguire, AS.

Grade three boys: first Leo Head, AS; second Nolan Banks, GPES; third Jake McCormick, Edgehill Elementary School (EES); fourth Ethan Taylor, École Côte Du Soleil (ECdS); fifth Cohen Mastrodonato, GPES; sixth Luke Shipley, GPES.
