Powell River U15 Kings cruise to pair of wins on home ice

Powell River U15 Kings put on an offensive show at Powell River Recreation Complex last weekend, posting 10-2 and 9-3 wins over the visiting U15 Juan de Fuca Grizzlies.

Cooper Lawry, Lucas Gruntman, Reid Stekman and Kooper Kozmeniuk scored a pair of goals each on January 11. Kesler Brown and Jack Murphy were the other goal-scorers who helped the team reach double digits.

The team continued to spread the scoring around the following day in another decisive win, despite one less goal for and one more against. Gabriel Caldarone produced a hattrick and Kesler Brown scored twice.

Cameron Milne, Kozmeniuk, Gruntman and Carson Laing rounded out the scoring with one goal each.
