Powell River U18 Kings will face three opponents this weekend at a Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association mini-tiering tournament, including two games on Saturday, September 16.
Powell River's first game starts at 1:15 pm at Hap Parker Arena versus Alberni Valley. At 7:30 pm, the U18 Kings meet Triport, also in the main arena at Powell River Recreation Complex.
On Sunday, September 17, Powell River and Oceanside play the final game of the tournament at the Hap, starting at 1:15 pm.
Other weekend matchups include Oceanside against Triport on Saturday at 3:15 pm (Hap Parker); Alberni versus Oceanside, Saturday, 5:30 pm (rink); and Triport against Alberni on Sunday at 8:30 am (Hap Parker).
U18 Kings played their first two games of the 2023/2024 season last weekend versus Sunshine Coast Blues.
