Pentiction Vees shut down Powell River Kings offence

One day after an impressive shutout home win over Vernon Vipers, Powell River Kings hosted the BC Hockey League’s top team at Powell River Recreation Complex and were held scoreless.

Pentiction Vees scored in the final minute of the first period on Sunday, December 1, then added five more goals in period two enroute to a 7-0 win. The visitors also dominated the shot clock by a margin of 53 to 15. Attendance was 539.

Kings have three away games this weekend with stops in Surrey (December 6), Langley (December 7) and Coquitlam (December 8).
