BCHL recognizes strong month for Powell River Kings forward

Powell River Kings forward Thomas Belzil was one of nine players given honourable mention for BC Hockey League's three stars of the month for September.

In four games, Belzil scored twice and assisted on five other goals, which places him 12th among the league's top scorers with seven points.

Parker Lalonde (six goals, three assists) of the Brooks Bandits was named first star.

Victoria Grizzlies (five goals, four assists) defender Drew Hockley earned second star honours, followed by third star Johnny Hicks, also of the Bandits, who stopped 62 of 64 shots in his three appearances, all wins, including one shutout.
