It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Victoria Lynn Johnson.
Victoria, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, in her home after a fearless and relentless battle with cancer.
She loved to crochet and often showed her gratitude and thanks by creating butterflies to share with others. Not only did she crochet, Victoria was also known for her jams and jellies that she, and her husband Dave, sold at the market for many years.
Those who knew Victoria knew of her love of Santa, and of her collection of anything “Santa,” which she amassed over the years...a collection of Santa-themed decorations that would make even the elves jealous.
Victoria was predeceased by her parents, husband Dave, her son Noland and her sister Cathy. She is survived by her son Jeff (Linda), her daughter Laura (Boyd), her grandsons Trevor (Lindsay) and Austin (Brooke), and her great-granddaughters Madalynn, Lillian and Oaklynn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the qathet General Hospital Oncology Ward.
Victoria will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
