We would like to announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Sawyer at Evergreen Care Unit on April 18, 2024. Sharon was the only child of Stanley and Mary Sawyer, who predeceased her in 1978 and 2006.
Sharon and her mother travelled far and wide after the loss of her father. She was never married but found the love of her life in Elmer, whom she met while living in Evergreen. They were inseparable in the short few years they had together.
Sharon will be missed by her family and many friends. We would like to thank Doctor Bonsor, and all the staff at ECU for their excellent care and understanding while Sharon was there.
There will be a celebration of life for Sharon at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 14, at Stubberfield Funeral Home, 7221 Duncan Street in Powell River.
