It is with great sadness that the family of Alberto Pagani is announcing his passing on April 14, 2024, with his family by his side after battling PLS for many years. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, nono and uncle.
Alberto cherished his family above all else. Born on December 11, 1931, in Carpineto, Romano, Italy, he immigrated to Powell River in 1951, where he started in the grinder room at the local mill and later became a master stone shaper, leaving a legacy of excellence. His passions included gardening, crafting wine, playing poker and crib, and spending time with friends and family. He was also a proud member of the Moose and Italian clubs.
A celebration of Alberto's life will be held from 1 to 3 pm on April 28, 2024, at the Carlson Community Club (4463 Joyce Avenue, Powell River). In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of BC (alsbc.ca/donate) would be greatly appreciated.
Alberto's love, laughter and legacy will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
