Powell River RCMP investigate fire set in city hall parking lot

Police are seeking video surveillance from the area

On August 25, Powell River RCMP received a report that there had been a fire in the parking lot at city hall on Duncan Street.

Video surveillance showed two females taking books from a community library and at approximately 1:37 am, set the books on fire in the parking lot. Anyone with other video surveillance from the area or any information about this crime is asked to call police.
