Police investigate theft at Powell River Recreation Complex

At approximately 11 am on August 23, Powell River RCMP responded to a break and enter at Powell River Recreation Complex. An exterior door had been pried open to gain access to the building.

Once inside the suspect(s) cut a lock off of a storage locker and stole several helmets, Gatorade bottles and towels. Also stolen was part of “Rocco’s” costume. Rocco is the mascot for the Powell River Kings.
