Powell River RCMP received a report of a break and enter at McDonalds restaurant that happened around 4:30 am on August 5.
Police attended and reviewed video that showed the suspect smash the lower window of the side entrance with a large metal wrench, enter McDonalds, take the charity box from the till area and leave through the smashed window.
