Powell River RCMP reported the following for November 16 to 22, 2022.

November 18: Duncan Street/Manson Avenue
At approximately 8:29 am, police responded to a motor vehicle incident at the intersection of Duncan Street and Manson Avenue. After investigation, police determined that the driver of a pickup truck made no attempt to stop at the four-way stop and collided with a dump truck that was in the process of making a left-hand turn. Both vehicles sustained major damage. The drivers of the vehicles did not sustain any major injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was issued a violation ticket for failing to obey a stop sign.
