A three-year-old female German shepherd mix is waiting to be adopted at BC SPCA-Powell River, located at 7558 Duncan Street. Nala's exterior coat is described as the colour of a perfectly toasted marshmallow and her personality as sweet and charming.
"She’s an absolute sweetheart, the kind of dog who thinks cuddles are a right," stated the SPCA-Powell River team. "Get ready for endless ear scratches, wet nose nudges and a love that could melt the coldest of hearts."
According to SPCA-Powell River, Nala is quite the social butterfly with her human friends. When it comes to other dogs, she’s still figuring out the ways of the canine world and can sometimes be a bit unsure when meeting new pups.
Nala is an intelligent canine who loves to learn, thrives on mental stimulation and loves food puzzles and find-it games.
SPCA-Powell River stated that Nala is currently available for local adoption only, while she awaits her spay date.
"She enjoys fetching, hiking and agility games, making her an ideal partner for someone with an active lifestyle. She is quickly mastering her recall and walks with loose leash, especially when exploring the trails. Nala is always enthusiastic about practicing her doggie manners and is highly motivated by treats, making training sessions a breeze," stated the SPCA-Powell River team.
Nala is eagerly waiting to meet her new people and embark on exciting adventures together.
