The Missing Star
Lainey Williams, Grade 3
Henderson Elementary School
It was a cold winter morning. We had made a fire. I was looking out the window at the snowflakes.
When I was looking out the window, I saw kids playing outside.
I wanted to go outside, too. So, I went to ask if I could go, too. So, I asked my dad, and he said yes.
So, I put on my mittens and went with my friend. It was so fun!
I yelled, but now I am going in because my dad said so. But then the star was missing, and I didn't find it. So, I looked in the basement and there was no star there.
Then I found it under my bed. Then I got the star.

It is Blake. I really want a VR for Christmas and my grandpa back, please.
I want a PS5, please. I need LEDs for my room because it is dark. I also want my cat back, he died.
I would like a book about soccer so I can get better at soccer. I would like Christmas clothes so I can wear them. From Blake.

The Missing Tree
River Larscheid, Grade 3
Henderson Elementary School
It all started at QF where we got our tree! It was really fun until the tree was missing. We looked everywhere for it.
So, then we went home and while me and my siblings had a snowball fight, my mom and dad called the mystery man to help us find the tree. Then the mystery man found a note.
It said, "I needed to steal your tree because I didn't have enough money to buy one."
So, we bought a new one and let him have the other one.
