On behalf of qathet Regional District, I would like to congratulate this year’s graduates. You have reached a significant milestone in your lives, a pivotal moment from which future events will be measured: pre-graduation and post-graduation.
For some, this marks a step on the educational ladder, while for others, it signifies the conclusion of formal education and the beginning of a career. Regardless of your path, this transition is crucial and should be approached with careful consideration. I urge you not to undervalue yourselves by hastily accepting the first opportunity that presents itself, whether for convenience or financial gain.
Take the time to thoughtfully contemplate your goals, skills and interests, as the choices you make now will likely influence the trajectory of your lives. Do not be afraid to change direction, it is never too late to try something new and I encourage you to branch out of your comfort zone as you might surprise yourself.
Remember, life is not solely about monetary gain or material possessions; it is about finding fulfillment and joy in what you do.
Congratulations on all your hard work and good luck in your futures. I know they will be bright and filled with incredible opportunities.
