The Kitchen Sink performed for a final time as high-school students at the 2024 graduation ceremony for qathet School District on June 8 at Powell River Recreation Complex.
The jazz/funk band came together two years ago through the jazz program at Brooks Secondary School. Members of the group include: Nathanial Hargrave on bass; Aaron Schweitzer on piano; Anthony Mulder on guitar; Tai Brown on drums; and James Leishman on trumpet.
There are more gigs to come, including this summer, according to Schweitzer.
