Powell River U15A Kings were triumphant at the recent Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Association Winter Tournament.
From December 16 to 19, the U15 squad posted five wins in five games, including a gold-medal-winning 6-2 victory over Juan de Fuca on the final day.
En route to the championship, Powell River also recorded wins over New Westminster (4-1), Alberni (8-4), Nanaimo (8-2), and Sooke (7-3).
