Powell River U11A Kings development team members were recently presented with their league championship banner.
The club finished the regular season with an impressive 10-1-1 record to top Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association’s Division 3 standings for the 2023/2024 season, and scored 84 goals over the 12 games while giving up 40, for a plus 44 differential.
U11A Kings are midway through postseason play and are looking to win the Tier 3 playoff banner this Saturday/Sunday in Victoria.
They also won a silver medal recently at a tournament in Coquitlam, placing in the top six of 30 teams.
