Powell River Kings have announced the signing of Noah Eyre for the upcoming BC Hockey League (BCHL) season.
Eyre has spent three seasons at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School (Faribault, Minnesota), collecting 53 goals and 68 assists for 121 points in 131 games with the USHS U15, U16 and U18 teams in his time at the school.
“Noah is a dynamic forward with good feet and an ability to make plays at pace,” stated Kings’ coach Brock Sawyer on the team’s website. “He came to Powell River this past season on a visit and fit right in with our group. We are excited to have the opportunity to coach Noah as he prepares for Princeton University.”
Eyre, who is a dual citizen from Vienna, Virginia, was born in 2004.
The club recently signed another forward, Marcus Dashevsky, who is from Richmond.
More signings are expected to be announced in the coming days, according to the Kings.
