Powell River Kings have acquired 2003-born forward Adam Mendelson from Prince George Spruce Kings in exchange for future considerations.
Mendelson, who is from Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, has appeared in 21 games in his first BC Hockey League (BCHL) season, collecting a goal and two assists for the Spruce Kings.
“Adam is a fast and smart player who we feel can step into our lineup and contribute at both ends of the rink,” stated Powell River general manager Chad van Diemen. “We look forward to having him join our lineup this weekend.”
Mendelson will make his Kings’ debut at home versus Merritt Centennials on Friday, December 2 (7 pm) and Cowichan Valley Capitals on Saturday, December 3 (5 pm).
