Braedyn Louie recorded a hat-trick and helped set up two other goals in Powell River U18 Kings’ 5-1 win over the visiting Juan de Fuca Grizzlies on Saturday, November 26.
Dreydan Harris and Evan Piniewski also scored for the Kings, who led 1-0 after the first period and 4-1 heading into the third.
With the win, the club improved its record on the season to 10 wins, five losses and three ties.
Ben Belyea, Reece Deeble and Harris set up two goals each, while Liam Carroll picked up a single assist.
The team travels to Comox for its next game on December 10.
