Powell River Villa soccer club, which recently finished its Vancouver Island Soccer League season, met Stevie's Steelers for an exhibition match to raise funds for Powell River Action Centre Food Bank and the Salvation Army.
Combined efforts of fans attending the game and the players participating resulted in $1,600 being raised.
