It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our precious mother, daughter and sister, Susan Lynn Taylor, after a long, courageous fight with cancer.
Susan is survived by daughter Lindsey (Luke) and their children Emitt, Isla and Harvey; and son Robjn (Jaime). She will forever be in the heart of her longtime boyfriend and best friend Jim.
Susan will be very deeply missed by her loving parents Robert and Joyce and siblings Michelle (Cameron), Colleen, David (Cris) and Ryan (Kristy). She will be remembered as a loving and thoughtful aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and a kind, caring friend to her many dear friends.
Susan lived her life as a faithful witness to the saving power of her Lord Jesus Christ. She loved and cared deeply for her family, friends and community.
Born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary, Susan spent the last happy 16 years in Powell River. In addition to raising her family, throughout her life, Susan furthered her education, worked in the public service, studied at Bible College and served with missions in Hawaii and Japan. She was active in church and in the Alano and Source clubs where she had many friends. Many of her dearest friends were in her Bible Study group.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 1:30 at Living Water Foursquare Church, 4640 Manson Avenue, Powell River. Susan wished that, rather than flowers, donations be made to World Vision Canada in her memory.
“Resting in the love and peace of Jesus.”
