It is with great sorrow that Steven passed away from multiple cancer masses a week after he was diagnosed. He wished to have this message relayed to anyone who will listen.
“Please quit smoking cigarettes! I don’t want what happened to me to happen to anyone else.”
Steve was known for his deep, loud voice, his Hawaiian shirts and his good deeds for the day. He was a warm, loving, funny man and I am very grateful he accepted my proposal of marriage long after he stopped asking me. He was the love of my life for 27 years, and he is deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers or cards, a donation can be made to your local SPCA because, “Dogs are better than people.” Or the Salvation Army that helped turn his life around in his 20s.
“Rest in peace my love, until we meet again.”
