Ask anyone. This child, our Savy baby, was a gift from the day she came into this world.

Born on Christmas Day, 1994, she entered our hearts, bringing with her a joy and happiness that helped fill our home and the lives of people around her. Her famous smile was unmatched, along with a warmth she wrapped you in whenever you were with her.

She celebrated life by dancing through her days...always trying everything at least once. All her spare moments were spent with family and friends, and searching for new adventures in the mountains and on the ocean. A true explorer. Xo

The sound of laughter from her and her dad while they planned adventures over a glass of milk will be our reminder to smile often. The comforting conversations with her mom guiding her to be her true self will be our reminder to stay inspired. The overflow of love and memories between sisters will help us remember to slow down, be present, and hold onto each other.

We will forever cherish her tendency to just pop by randomly to snuggle, cook, eat and then sleep. That was our baby sis.

Savannah was, and always will be, the light that shines on us as we move through this world. Even though we can’t see her, we will feel her.

Our wish, for everyone who had the privilege to know our sweet Sav, is to remember all the beautiful things. To think of her often, to share stories when you can, to love her, and to take her with you wherever you go.

Endless love from her dad Kelly, mom Valerie, sisters Samantha (Evan), Sydney and Sarah (Pete), nephew Maverick, niece Blake, grandparents Bert and Lill Baillie; aunts, Nora (Doug) Devito, Susan Baillie, Kathleen (Ed) Westgate and Diane Baillie (Vince); uncles Bob Griffiths, Rob, Brent and Bryan Davidson, Bryce Jones and their families and extended family.

Savannah’s celebration of her life will be held at Saltery Bay Provincial Picnic Park, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1 pm.

A motorcycle ride to the celebration at the park will be open to all riders. Riders arrive at 3130 Byron Road, Powell River, at 11:45 am. Vehicle drivers please carpool.

Donated buses will be doing a pickup at the Beach Gardens top parking lot (11 am) and Tla’amin Fire Hall (10:45 am).

There will be a Memory Chest at Saturday’s gathering; we would love and encourage everyone to bring a written memory, moment or keepsake to contribute.

While we have remained focused on family, the tremendous amount of support and love has not gone unnoticed or without gratitude. Thank you all so much.
