It's been ten years since you were taken away
to step through the transparent veil
between here and there.
The waves continue to lap upon the ocean shores
the stationary glowing ball of fire continues to burn
taking its place in the sky.
The earth continues to rotate around the sun
turning day into night, night into day.
Life goes on without you.
Overwhelmed with the loss of you
