It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Ann Ryan on February 22, 2025. She was born May 30, 1944, to Rouiece and Margaret (Peggy) Carlson in Cardston, Alberta.
Marjorie was well known in the Powell River community as a businesswoman of Bar Tech for many years. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 38 years Lloyd and her brother Scott, sister-in-law Donna, mother and father. She is survived by her sons Philip Clifton and Lloyd Justin Ryan (Crystal), grandchildren Rouiece, Jayden and Kaitlyn, stepchildren Michael, Darryl and Pam Ryan, her brother Doug Carlson, nieces Carolyn (Nathan), Jennifer (Mike), Robert (Sheena), with many great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many friends who she has come to be as family to them.
We will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the BC Cancer Agency, Kílala Lelum Health Centre, Powell River General Hospital.
We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at ECU for their care during her stay.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2 pm, with a small reception to follow at Cranberry Seniors Centre.
