It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ray Enquist after a brief illness. He is survived by Gwen, his wife of 51 years, his son Douglas, brother Allen (Barb), along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Norma Daoust (Marcel).
Ray lived in Powell River for 93 of his 95 years and although he travelled widely, he considered Powell River to be the best place in the world. He was sometimes referred to as an ambassador for Powell River. Ray was a loyal friend to many and will be sadly missed.
We are grateful to the emergency and ICU staff for their caring attention to Ray in his final hours.
