On the evening of December 13, 2023, Delors Ann Reynolds (née Fallis) passed away peacefully at qathet General Hospital in Powell River after a brief illness, with her husband Michael and her close friends Jude and Norma by her side. She was 88 years old.
Delors was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a beloved friend to many. She was known for her wonderful cooking and was a gifted seamstress and knitter. She spent years providing child care for families in her local community in Victoria, and later she was an active member of her Powell River community as a long-term volunteer at the Powell River Health-Care Auxiliary Economy Shop.
Born on April 27, 1935, in Edmonton, Alberta, Delors moved to Victoria with her family in the 1940s, where she attended St. Ann’s Academy. Delors and Michael married on May 17, 1958, in Victoria, where they raised their four children. They moved to Powell River in 2007.
Delors was predeceased by her parents Marie Antoinette Fallis (née Forcade) and Francis Lewis Fallis, and her brother Marvin. She is survived by her husband Michael; her children Stephen, James, Patricia and Gregory; and her grandchildren, Felix, Sean, Cullen and Garreth.
