Weatherhood forecast for Tuesday, November 5

Sunshine Coast hit with stormy weather, but rest of week is back to average winds and temperatures

CALM AND SUNNY: After intense winds on Sunday and Monday, today, Tuesday, November 5, the winds have calmed down and the forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, with an average temperature of 8 degrees Celsius. The photo above was taken on the sea walk in Westview.

The Weatherhood station is forecasting a daytime temperature for Tuesday, November 5 of nine degrees Celsius and a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day.

Wednesday, November 6, will be cloudy for much of the day, and on Thursday, November 7, there is a 60 per cent chance of rain for the qathet region.

On Friday, November 8, the wind picks up again to 15 kilometres an hour, along with a mix of sun and cloud, with a high daytime temperature of 11 degrees. Friday, it is predicted that 11 millimetres of rain will accumulate throughout the day.

qathet Art Centre (qAC) has Memento Mori workshops throughout the week including: a Guided Meditation on the Cycle of Life and Death on November 8, with artist Kait Ramsden; and advance care planning with Sheila Peters on November 7. Monday, November 11, is Remembrance Day. The service will begin at Dwight Hall in Townsite at 10 am.
