Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) has issued a drug alert on Tuesday, April 8:
"Pink granules sold as down in Powell River (qathet) tested positive for fentanyl, benzo analog desalkygidazepam and tranquilizers xylazine and medetomidine. Substance has caused overdose and prolonged sedation."
