At the April 1 City of Powell River committee of the whole meeting, there was a rise and report from a closed special city council meeting held March 27.

At a meeting on March 18, the committee directed staff to report to council regarding city-owned buildings, bare lands or parking lots that may be suitable as an interim measure for emergency sheltering.
