SECOND TERM: Tla’amin Nation hegus John Hackett, standing at the lectern with the microphone, was re-elected hegus of Tla’amin Nation in the September 14 general election.

John Hackett has been re-elected hegus of Tla’amin Nation in the nation’s government 2024 election held on September 14.

According to unofficial results, Hackett had more votes than former hegus Clint Williams and the third candidate, Arnie Courtney.

Elected to the office of legislator are Gloria Francis, Callum Galligos, Leonard Harry, Dillon Johnson, Brandon Louie, Losa Luaifoa, Brandon Peters and Tanner Timothy.
