Daytime temperatures rise after chilly weekend

PRECIPITATION AHEAD: The Weatherhood station is indicating precipitation in the forecast for the last week of March. Signs of spring can be seen sprouting from the ground now, including a favourite post-hibernation snack for black bears, the skunk cabbage (above).

After a weekend of cold, wet weather in qathet, the Weatherhood app has the region as the warmest in its Top 5 Ranking For The Day, today, Monday, March 24, at 10.3 degrees.

By Tuesday, March 24, the daytime temperature will rise to 14 degrees Celsius and to 15 degrees on Wednesday, March 26. There will be rain throughout the week, accumulating up to 21 millimetres of precipitation on Thursday, March 27. Thursday will also see the wind pick up to 18 kilometres at noon and up to 24 kilometres overnight.
