Spending authorized
The regional board will send a letter to qathet Museum and Archives Society to authorize the capital purchase of computer equipment. The museum was requesting permission to spend $6,000 on the purchase of two computers and a printer/scanner.
Grant application
An application to BC Hydro for the community regreening program for up to $7,500 to provide trees and plants will be made, and any costs not covered by the grant will be funded through the solid waste service.
BC Hydro has partnered with Tree Canada to help fund trees and planting projects across the province. The planting plan is to supplement existing trees and plants at the Resource Recovery Centre with low maintenance trees and plants, increasing the greenspace and aesthetic of the site.
Fees raised
