Powell River RCMP have indicated a person reported missing has been found.
According to an RCMP media release, on November 21, a member of the public called RCMP to report that they believed they saw an individual believed to be Helen Rasmussen on Texada Island. The release stated that the caller believed Rasmussen was a missing person who RCMP were looking for.
RCMP attended to the location and confirmed the individual to be Rasmussen, who is safe and no longer missing, according to the release.
Powell River RCMP and Texada Island RCMP thanked the public for their assistance in locating Rasmussen, who was reported as missing on November 17.
