March 13; Barnet Street
An old family photo album containing pictures and memorabilia has been returned a family. The album was turned into Powell River RCMP on March 7, 2024, and details were released to the media. A few days later, a member of the family contacted police to claim the album.

March 17; Haul Road
RCMP received a 911 call about a vehicle that had crashed into a telephone pole near Second Beach. Police arrived on scene and observed a vehicle wedged into an unserviced telephone pole. The vehicle sustained significant damage but the occupants were not injured.

Police spoke to the driver who showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested for impaired operation and transported to the detachment to provide breath samples. The driver provided two samples of breath with results of 230mg of alcohol/100L of blood and 220mg of alcohol/100L of blood.

The driver was issued a notice of driving prohibition and released to appear in Provincial Court.
