October 18; Highway 101, 2100 block
At approximately 10:35 am, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Sometime between 11 pm on October 17 and 10:35 am on October 18, a blue Honda CR-V was stolen from a residence at that location. On October 19 the vehicle was located and recovered by police on Tanner Road. The vehicle was seized and a forensic examination of the vehicle was completed.

October 16; Covey Street
At approximately 7:20 pm, police received a request for assistance from Powell River Fire Department for a single vehicle rollover on Covey Street. The driver of the vehicle lost control after the emergency brake was inadvertently pulled and ended up upside down in a ditch. No one was seriously injured, but the vehicle sustained extensive damage.

October 15; Powell River
Police received a call from a member of the public advising that they had located a blue and orange Ibis bike reported stolen on October 8. Police attended and the bike, valued at approximately $7,000, was returned to the owner. RCMP would like to thank the public for keeping an eye out for the bike so it could be returned to the rightful owner.
