Powell River RCMP reported the following for October 10 to 16, 2019.

October 9; Padgett Road, 3600 block
At approximately 10:13 am, police executed a search warrant at a residence. As a result of the warrant, police seized 1,402 marihuana plants as well as a large amount of growing equipment from the property. Police have identified a suspect, and this matter is still currently under investigation.
October 11; Arbutus Avenue, Townsite
At approximately 9:59 pm, police were conducting a check stop to look for impaired drivers. A vehicle driven by a 48-year-old male was stopped, and the driver showed signs of impairment by liquor. The male provided a breath sample, which registered a “warn.” He was issued a three-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
October 12; Nassichuk Road, 9500 block
At approximately 9:13 am, police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. Sometime during the previous night, someone entered the vehicle and took a wallet containing identification and credit cards.
