1. February 25

6800 block Alberni Street

Between approximately 3 and 6 am various items were stolen from a Ford F150 while parked. The items missing include a multi-coloured bag, some miscellaneous clothing, a pruning saw and gardening clippers.

2. February 25

3800 block Joyce Avenue

At approximately 8:45 pm a male attended a residence and engaged in an argument with the two occupants. During the argument the male sprayed the two occupants with bear spray then fled on foot. The suspect male was described as approximately five foot nine inches, 220 pounds and was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey jogging pants.

3. February 27

Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal

A vehicle was broken into while parked near the terminal. Entry was gained by smashing one of the windows. Items missing include a briefcase, VHF radio, a bag of clothing, and a wallet which contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

4. March 1

4500 block Marine Avenue

At approximately 2:15 am a traffic stop was conducted. The lone occupant demonstrated signs of alcohol consumption and failed two separate roadside breathalysers. As a result the vehicle was impounded for 30 days and the driver’s licence was seized for 90 days.
