1. July 12
Highway 101
Police received a report of a single vehicle collision near Gifford Road. The driver of the vehicle was heading south, when the driver lost control due to weather conditions and left the road, ultimately ending up in a ditch. The driver was not injured.
2. July 14
Joyce Avenue and Duncan Street
Police stopped a vehicle after it was seen running a red light at the intersection. The 35-year-old male driver showed signs of impairment and police administered a roadside breath test. The test registered a “fail” and the driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition under the Motor Vehicle Act.
3. July 14
4000 block Selkirk Avenue
Police received a report of mischief to a vehicle. Sometime during the previous night someone had slashed one of the tires. The cost of the damage is $217 for the tire.
