A section of a main thoroughfare in downtown Powell River will be closed to traffic for an estimated eight hours on Wednesday, April 12. Graham Infrastructure plans to conduct work that will affect Marine Avenue between Courtenay and Burton streets.
"We'd like to inform you of upcoming essential construction activities in your neighbourhood," the company stated in a notice. "We will be bypassing sanitary lines to conduct tie-in work on the intersection of Marine Avenue and Courtenay Street for the new wastewater treatment plant currently under construction."
Graham Infrastructure, which stated that it will will endeavour to minimize any inconvenience, will need to fully close traffic from 7 am to 3 pm (estimated) during construction.
