Laszlo Tamasik Dance Academy ballet students presented Once Upon a Time, a journey through the land of childhood stories, on Saturday, May 27, in Evergreen Theatre at Powell River Recreation Complex. The performers drew audience members into a world of magic with classical music, fantastic costumes, great props and projected backdrops.
The dance academy has two more shows to close its season. On Friday, June 2, and Saturday, June 3, all other générés of dance will be showcased in We Hope You Dance, which will feature hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary dancers of all levels, both competitive and non-competitive streams.
Tickets can be purchased at the Peak, from 8 am to 4 pm today (May 31), Thursday, June 1, and Friday, June 2, at Unit-F 4493 Avenue.
