“Picklers” representing the qathet region played strong matches at Sunshine Coast Pickleball Association’s (SCPA) eighth Arena Bowl at Gibson’s Arena last month.
With more than 100 competitors vying for gold, silver and bronze medals, 10 local players brought home 10 medals in all: two gold, six silver and two bronze.
Pickleball players also travelled from Squamish, Penticton and the Lower Mainland to compete in men’s, women’s and mixed categories.
