To the delight of a packed house at Hap Parker Arena in Powell River Recreation Complex, qathet School District's 2024 graduates strutted, posed and performed during a ceremony earlier this month.
The ceremony on June 8 featured speeches, performances and recognition of their rite of passage following 13 years of studies in the local school system.
Next week, the Peak will publish its Class of 2024 special section, which will feature red carpet arrival photos, students' speeches and messages from dignitaries.
